Once the partitions are set up I've had excellent success with GRUB.
/usr/ports/grub
http://www.gnu.org/software/grub

Read the documentation at the web site a couple of times, create a GRUB boot disk, and you can recover from pretty much any Microsoft related MBR hosejobs.
