    Nasty, icky, black critters with a penchant for loop
    counter variables and high megahertz settings.  Codebase
    Beware!  I thought of laundering the whole mess but
    the thought of Nasty, icky, black, WET critters squishing
    their way through the VM system was too much to bear.
