You still forgot to mention in which o/s.  We don't have a passwd(8),
only passwd(1) [no mention of this], and passwd(5):

           class     User's general classification (unused).
...
     The class field is currently unused.  In the near future it will be a key
     to a termcap(5) style database of user attributes.
