At this point, I think this thread is too long.  It should be
apparent to you by now that few (if any) people share your
opinion that the argument list should be basically infinite.

Look for other solutions to your problem, or branch freebsd
into some new "ErkBSD", and let that bsd have argument lists
limited only by machine resources.
