Hi FreeBSD'ers

Finding info on socket programming (IPv4) under/for freebsd was easy. But was is the freebsd-way of programming socket for IPv6?
I have found: RFC 2553 and 2292, is this the FreeBSD socket programming standard?

Best regards
Rafter
