    When you created the filesystems on which the history and spool reside,
    did you use any custom parameters for blocksize, fragsize, etc...? 

    P.S. you should not publish paths to kernel dumps on the lists... send
    that over private email.  Dumps might contain sensitive data such as 
    passwords.
