e3vi dumps core file of 10MB (after given a file name) w/ the
following key sequence (in command mode)...

  :  -- ex mode
  #  -- '#' character
  ^M  -- enter key
  (at this point, "ERROR 9: bad file descriptor" message is produced).
  ^M  -- enter key


>How-To-Repeat:

install editors/e3.  invoke it by 'e3vi' name w/ any file name,
followed by above key sequence (in command mode).

core dump can be reproduced consistently.
