I had the same problem: WindowMaker at work without a pager and I felt like missing something important, I solved the problem this way (from my .xinitrc) export WINDOW_MANAGER=/usr/X11R6/bin/wmaker /usr/X11R6/bin/panel & exec $WINDOW_MANAGER I use only the panel of Gnome with wmaker, so I can use the 'Desk Guide' applet (which is the pager), and wmaker without icons. It fits confortable to me :) L. -- Laura Gioia I.net Spa - Housing Dpt. - The truth is out there? Does anyone know the URL?
