I did some work to port acd(4) functionality needed by burncd(8) to
user space. My version of burncd can now burn a CD using a pass(4)
device but there's still a fair amount of work to do to make it
releasable.

I am not sure if I have interest to develop it further. If someone wants
to get the source, please contact me privately.
