I have just installed FreeBSD 4.2 on a laptop.

When I had version 3.2-RELEASE on this PC, X worked fine.
I wiped the instalation and started over with the FreeBSD 4.2
install CDs, and I can't get XFree86 configured properly.

The graphical install won't run at all, and after configuring
with xf86config, I get the error message:

xf86OpenConsole: KDENABIO failed (Operation not permitted)

Any hints as to what is wrong ?

Please CC me on replies as I'm not subscribed to the list at the
