Did you upgrade to 4.2-STABLE? If so, you might want to edit the /usr/src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc file to your liking, then run make in that directory, then copy the resulting freebsd.cf to /etc/mail/sendmail.cf Also, you will need /usr/src/contrib to do this.
