I could not get StarOffice 4.0sp3 to install on a 2.2.5 machine.  It'd
coredump upon running ./setup.  So, I downloaded the stock 4.0 (non sp3)
distribution and it installed and ran without a hitch.

I don't think it is checking for uname at all, so you might want to make
sure you do have the linux emu running correctly.  Make sure that you have
the proper linux libs in /compat, and run a modstat to see if linux_mod is
loaded.
