by way of similar path .. would it be possible to marry
acouple of ide (9 Gb) drives into a vinum styled single
"drive", and then to integrate the following logical array ?

would it be possible to make up a big drive array from a
couple of 2 Gb ide drives and a couple of 1 Gb scsi2 drives.

what sort of perforrmance issues. compatability issues would i
have to look at.

your thoughts would be appreciated.

i'm aggregating old computers and sloughing the junk.

warm regards
