That is the kind of response I like. I don't appreciate being flamed for a
reasonable question about something that is not documented in an obvious
place.

Is it something that I can help with? Or is it more a political issue? Can
you send me a pointer to something that goes into more detail?
I will be upgrading to -current shortly to keep track of improvements in
thread support, my interest, for better or worse, is not purely academic
(read business).
Even in 3.2-S unpatched libc_r had infinite recursion problems in malloc,
fortunately for me, it was easy enough to hack around.
