This maybe of some help > to you as well: Adding xrandr to the .xinitrc file seems to have the screen resolution and flicker fixed. One other thing, though, the exit button (from the panel) now only has the option to "Quit," which is doesn't do. Fortunately, this is pretty easy to work around, just shutdown from an xterm. Keith
