I have somehwat similar behaviour, but only if I ust powered upo my
VAIO. Whenever I suspend and resume it, a single mouse tap will
reuslt in a single click.
I never got that right (but I never actually bothered).

I am running moused as follows: moused -p /dev/psm0 -t auto
No special flags for psm0
