I entered the bios of my vaio and configured:

In Advanced, subcategory IrDa:

| IrDA Configuration:     Enabled
|   IR Base I/O address:  3E8
|   Interrupt:            3
|   Mode:                 FIR
|   DMA Channel:          DMA 0
|   FIR Base I/O address: 140

And my Kernel-config contains this line:

| device		sio2	at isa? 	port IO_COM3 irq 3

after that, it probes fine and is accessible as /dev/cuaa2

| sio2 at port 0x3e8-0x3ef irq 3 on isa0
| sio2: type 16550A
