The place to look for video card info is not really the FreeBSD site,
but rather the XFree86 site,

    http://www.xfree86.org/FAQ/

is a good place to start. Assuming that's what you plan to be running.

FYI, I am running just fine with a ATI Xpert 8MB AGP card right now.
