FWIW, Dave is the maintainer of both DateTime and
Params::ValidationCompiler, so if he does make any breaking changes in the
latter its fairly likely he will account for that in DateTime (why he
switched to Params::ValidationCompiler from Params::Validate is mentioned
in the changelog).
