I think that there is a hint here, /usr/X11R6/lib/mozilla/libmozjs.so
does exist...

   I just did a freetype2 necessitated upgrade, and now mozilla doesn't
   start, even though it builds.  I don't get any messages if I run it
   from the command line, any ideas?
