David, Each local users group is an independant entity. These groups are not sanctioned or blessed by the FreeBSD project proper. That said, the reply you recieved was not called for at all. This kind of behavior does nothing to help the group as a whole but is out of the control of the project leaders. *That* said, you just spammed all these random people who you considered to be FreeBSD leaders with an unwanted email over what really ammounts to a personal squabble.
