 The problem is on line 229 :
 
 $text =~ 
 s/(http|https|ftp|gopher|mailto|news|file)(:[^\s]*?\/?)(\W?\s)/<a 
 href="$1$2">$1$2<\/a>$3/goi;
 
 It's the (\W?\s) which needs to change.  It does not recognize that 
 "&gt;" should terminate the URL.
