Update..... it was wokring with compression a bit (25% more on a tape) under the sgi settings.... however i couldn't read back from any tape at all with the sgi setting..... i changed back to default for now to try and do a backup..... now i get the everyloveing message that tells you that the end of media has been reached but as usual (especially since i started using antything greater than 2.2.6 or below 3.0-current) it doesnt ask for another tape..... this is REALLY bad..... i need to back all this data up..... even if it takes me 200 tapes i need it baked up.... (oh sorry meant backed not baked.....) snyone else experiance this strange annoyance?-=Richard Secor Sequential Logic=- -=Richard Secor Sequential Logic=- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
