If misconfigured, it can be downright annoying. But legally, one use
might be defensible whereas the other might be an invasion of privacy:
the intention matters.

Depending on where you live and your relationship with those people
you're intercepting the email of, this might be illegal, perfectly
allowable, or an absolute requirement if the government tells you to do
it. That's for you to take up with a lawyer if you're worried.

Anyroadup, what's the MTA? Stock sendmail, or have you replaced that?
