Most usually, all the start up scripts are going to be locatd inthe 
"/usr/local/etc/rc.d" directory. I've noticed that most programs 
installed via ports has the startup script there. Also, be aware that 
most commonly the program will need to be enabled via the 
"/etc/rc.conf". eg... 'enabe_apache="YES"..... Just be sure to keep an 
eye out on "/usr/ports/UPDATING"  and after you install a program via 
ports, read the startup script on "/usr/local/etc/rc.d".
