hi guys,

i have both windows xp pro with ntfs file system on my pc. today when i
installed FreeBSD 4.5 .. i couldn't mount the win xp partition. anyway, i
did the following:

1. i added "options NTFS" in my kernel and recompiled.
2. i added "/dev/ad0s1 /winxp ntfs ro
0 0" in fstab, now i have my windows xp partition mount as /winxp all
the time.

i'm not sure if i am doing the right thing, but i can access my win xp
partition ... please if there's anythiong wrong let me know.

my question is ... when i reboot i get:

F1 ??
F2 FreeBSD

Default F2

i'm not familier with the FreeBSD MBR ... i tried reading the handbook but
couldn't get it... is there a way to modify the ?? and make it look like
Windows or something. i mean something like you do in /etv/lilo.conf in
linux?

thanks,

--Nader
