Well, I have three systems running ATA-100 drives. I don't have any
IBM's but the ata-disk from FreeBSD 4.2 and on, I think, supported
UDMA100. There were things such as cable length that made a difference.
Since mine all work, I don't have any ideas about what you could be
doing wrong.
