Hi all!

I'm fairly new to FreeBSD, so I'm kind of lost at the moment.
I just bought a used Compaq ProLiant Server, dual Pentium Pro 200MHz
256k, two ~4GB SCSI HDDs. The first thing I did was making the two
standard boot-floppies. The installation then was pretty much like the
one I remember from installing FreeBSD on an IBM. Post install
configuration also appeared to work properly. After rebooting the
following happened:
1st try: with standard BootManager: I couldn't select FreeBSD or hit
enter, the puter just beeped
2nd try: without extra bootmanager: I got the one-liner that no
operating system is installed

Anybody any idea what happened? Any tips how to get it working?

The second problem: I would like to use the two disks in a Level 0
Software-RAID. Is it possible to configure Vinum during System
installation?

Thanks for your help!
Holger
