I was having problems with makig the port of super, and it turned out to be that I had old include files left over from earlier versions of FreeBSD (in particular /usr/include/prot.h). At the advice of the maintainer of super, I added -DCLOBBER when I did my next make world. Actually I did it with make installworld, as I always do it in two stages. But it didn't remove the old include files.
