Everyone who has installed FreeBSD started out being inexperienced at some
point, so the answer to your question is Yes!

However, you will have a steeper learning curve than those who have had
prior learning experience.  You'll want to take advantage of all the
documentation, perhaps purchase The Complete FreeBSD book (if I got that
title right), definitely read the documentation links off www.freebsd.org,
familiarize yourself with how to use the archives so you don't ask
questions that have already been answered, etc.
