Subject: glib20 port, pthread linkage issues?
Message-ID: <1016711492.55226.23.camel@vader>

recently i've tried to use jdub's garnome system to build the collection
of packages that is gnome2. whenever anything tries to link against
libgthread (a part of glib), the build errors with "undefined reference
to `pthread_cond_signal'", and many other undefined references to
pthread_* symbols.

this error occurs both when i try to build the glib-2.0 tarball from
garnome (ie stock), or try to build packages that depend on glib-2.0
(for example linc) and link them against glib-2.0 installed from
devel/glib20.

am i doing something blatantly wrong? or is glib itself not being
compiled properly?

thanks in advance

anthony
