Has anyone had any luck getting a Handspring Visor to connect via USB to FreeBSD 4.9 on the ucom interface? I had it working just fine through ugen on FreeBSD 4.8 but after a cvsup and a switch to ucom it fails. I've tried it as a user and as root so I dont think it is a permissions problem. Literally, the only thing that changed in my setup was to change ugen to ucom. I get IO errors of the form: pconn_usb_open: Can't get information about USB device. ioctl(USB_GET_DEVICEINFO): Inappropriate ioctl for device thanks! chadd
