We're doing this because we know you need some amusement and work
much too hard...

Now, all I have to do is add an option to date to output the day
of the year zero based... :-)

ps: Speaking of low memory, are there any known bugs when allocating
extremely large amounts of memory? I have 768Meg of ram, 5 gig
of swap: malloc tops out at 1gig and mmap(anon) tops out at
2 gig... I need to alloc 4 gig. The following are in the
    kernel config:

# Increase the default maximum data size
options MAXDSIZ="((__int64_t)5*1024*1024*1024)"
options DFLDSIZ="((__int64_t)5*1024*1024*1024)"

    see: ~jwd/public_html/ds.c
    or: http://www.freebsd.org/~jwd/ds.c

Probably something silly on my part.
