Isn't /root the home directory for root? (There's no /home/root). I can't 
seem to run X as non-root, which is my next little project. I think I saw 
some messages about that earlier on the list. I'll put the .xinitrc in 
home/whoever when I have that working, but shouldn't /root work for now? I 
dunno. I'm an X newbie. :)
