"SMBus does not work. SATA needs to work in PATA emulation. SATA disks are detected as UDMA33, but work in full speed."

Possibly add that, Tyan has a new firmware that fixes the SATA UDMA33 issue.
 Bios V103.

 Have not been able to test if it solves the problem with multiple drives under heavy usage, however.
