Hi,

I suppose this question has been asked many times here.
I'm experiencing some problems connecting to a xyplex via SLIP.
I'm able to connect to it to start slip from the xyplex side and to start
it from my side. Everything is fine and when I do a telnet or a ping
I see the modem sending data, and receiveing small amount of bytes but
nothing happens and all my pakets are lost.

I did:

>> Connect to xyplex
>> ifconfig sl0 inet myaddr xyplex_addr mtu 296 netmask 255.255.255.255
>> route add default xyplex_addr
>> Start slip on xyplex side
>> slattach -s 38400 -h cuaa1

telnet ping don't get to any host.
No errors are reported except a timeout on telnet.
slstat shows that packets are sent but only bytes (in column) are
received and no errors or collisions occur.

netstat shows a referenced interface and shows some numbers in the use
column.

I tried different combinations of mtu, slip cslip different netmask but
it's always the same result.
I also disabled the T/TCP feature from my system.
Anyone has a clue of what is happening?

Thanks.

Samy
