It is the collection of files `src/ssys.a?'.  If  you run `/stand/sysinstall' and choose `Configure' and
`Install additional distribution sets'.

Select `src' w/<spacebar> and select
`[ ] sys      /usr/src/sys (FreeBSD kernel)'.
