I've tried all morning to alias an IP on the nic of a machine and have done it the way I've always done it. For some reson it won't work though. Does anyone have a clue as to why I would get this # ifconfig xl0 inet 63.169.99.15 -alias ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCDIFADDR): Can't assign requested address # I'm at my whits end here. Thank you.
