    I tried Linpack with 500x500 size and get very similar results
    to those on your web page (~4 for no jit or sunwjit and ~36 for
    Hotspot Server VM). I was, however, very surprised
    that I was able to run Linux JDK 1.3 and *HotSpot* on
    FreeBSD's emulator. I wasn't able to do that on 4.2-RELEASE.
