Hello, currently I'm looking for reasonable priced (really) mass-storage. (top-notch performance not required) I have the opportunity to get my hands on a few Seagate Elite ST-410800N disks. What about the overall quality of this drive? - power consumption - cooling requirements - expected lifetime The drives would be connected to AHA2940s and Symbioslogic 875-based host-adapters running under FreeBSD (stable / current) and (... ugggh, ...
