Dear sir, I have gone through the free BSD networking code. I found that whenever w= e wanted to send a packet from the ip layer to the interface layer or from tcp/udp layer to ip layer the packets are placed in a queue. My doubt is whether the ip & the linklayers are implemented as separate processes? I = have this doubt because when the packets are placed in a queue there should be= some running process that takes from the queue. If they are implemented as a process kindly mail me the name of it. regards ravi prasad. ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=3D= 1 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
