Another one, then:

- everybody has a floppy reader
- some have a cd burner

Even if it's an alpha platform, doesn't mean you have a usable cd
burner near.

Now, you're right: instead of speaking, I should look through the
problem to see if we can do something.

What about making two sets of boot floppies ?
