So bootpart creates a boot file for each OS? This must be the reason
it can boot OSs on the second disk. BOOTSECT.BSD (or whatever you
call it) is a copy of the boot sector of the FreeBSD partition and
as such contains no info about the *disk* it is on, therefore the
NT loader looks for it on the first disk (and fails when it doesn't
find it.
