    Yes here, and the symptom is same as described in the title.

    I did not try to investigate the problem as your did, but just
update the FreeBSD box in question to 5.3-stable. It just works fine
so far.

`uname -av` is
FreeBSD trex 5.3-STABLE FreeBSD 5.3-STABLE #1: Wed Jan 26 14:29:14 CST 2005     root@wist:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/I686UP  i386
