What kernel messages do you get when you plug in the USB key?

I have a key here that takes a few seconds to get ready and the umass-sim
attachment to CAM will miss it. Doing 'camcontrol rescan X' where X is
the scbus for that USB controller (camcontrol devlist -v will show them)
wakes it up.

Its not necessary to re-apply the devfs.conf rules, so you can remove the
'devfs restart' from your usbd.conf.
