Greg,

I think mine is a bit different in that it does not get recognized as
an "st" (SCSI tape) device. I've rebuilt the kernel and now it attaches
to the st driver - I could not get the "ch" to do anything worthwhile.
The uk0 seen above is worthless to me - I guess you could write
a driver to control it but I haven't the gray matter or time for 
that kind of thing.

BTW on the Archive you can get it to move to the next tape in the
magazine using mt:

	mt -f /dev/rst0 offline

It will not eject the magazine at the end however. I use this in
scripts at work to eject on Exabytes too (Sol 2.5.1) - so far
I've found most of the mt commands to work (fsf,bsf,rewind,blocksize,
density,rewoffl, and status) for the Archive on FreeBSD.
