  uname -v
  FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE #1: Mon Feb 19 14:46:17 GMT 2001

  from /etc/rc.firewall:

        # set these to your network and netmask and ip
        net="192.0.2.0"
        mask="255.255.255.0"
        ip="192.0.2.1"

update your rc.firewall and you lose your network setting.
