I think that an average english reader would not notice
that, inserting the word "provide" subconciously.

Please have a look at fdp-primer:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/fdp-primer/index.html

to learn how to write and patch documentation, then you
can correct the mistake and send-pr.
