Try changing your BIOS Plug-n-Play settings. If I remember correctly, when I 
installed, if I had PnP on, sysinstall would hang(before or after install), 
but with it off, sysinstall proceeds as normal.

Or maybe I have it backwards. I'm really not sure... Try swapping that 
setting, though.
