Hi, hope it isnt to far offtopic. I just saw that pnmtoeyuv of the netpbm tools makes wonderfull picturefiles, than can be cat *yuv >bla.yuv, that is compatible with MPEG4IPs divxenc. There is only one problem: picture size. pnmtoeyuv gives me an error message that the bottom line will be cut because we have an uneven number of rows. But what I get are green stripes at the bottom and the right. There must be an exact rule for the rows, like a multiple of 4 or something, but YUV has ever been a secret for me.
